Retractable Injectors/Diffusers
Retractable Flanged Injection Quill – 150 psi or 250 psi rated
Retractable flanged injection quills require the use of a flanged valve main connection as the isolation point that makes insertion and removal of the solution tube possible. The flanged valve takes the place of a traditional brass corporation stop. By eliminating the brass corporation stop there is no compromise in strength. Excess solution tube length creates leverage on the threads of the brass corporation stop that result in failure. A flanged injector can absorb the leverage inflicted by the solution tube when in the process flow.
These units are service rated to 150 psi or 250 psi.
Extreme CAUTION should be taken when inserting or removing any retractable injector. Anytime the system pressure can reduced it is recommended to allow for an easier insertion or removal.
