The SAF-T-Seal Tip helps combat clogging deposits from forming inside the solution tube of an injector.  This can prove a valuable addition to injectors being used with clog prone chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite and ammonia.

How it Works

 

Deposit formation is most typically the result of material precipitating out of solution when chemical comes into contact with water.  The 'duck-bill' design of the tip allows it to open on positive pressure from the chemical being fed and inhibits water from flowing up into the tube.  As result, the reaction between chemical and water is kept out of the tube, reducing deposit formation inside it.

The SAF-T-Seal tip is available on SAF-T-FLO injectors that are equipped with either 3/8" or 1/2" solution tube.

Material

The tip is available in either EPDM or FKM.

Replacement

Alloy solution tubes are intended to provide a long service life - one that outlasts an accompanying SAF-T-Seal tip.  SAF-T-FLO offers replacement SAF-T-Seal ends for alloy solution tubes to ensure that you can keep your injector operating as intended over the long-haul.
